Cantik Swimwear was founded in 2013, designed on the shores of Sydney, Australia and made on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia.
Cantik (pronounced ‘chun-tick’) meaning ‘beautiful’ in Bahasa Indonesian, is designed for bold and strong cantik women all over the world.
Cuts inspired by classic vintage styles & contemporary fashion silhouettes have minimal coverage to feature the perfect female form in all its variations.
Luxury fabrics, refined femininity, quality detailing, daring cuts and unique prints encompass the label’s signature aesthetic.
Cantik Swimwear believes in acting mindfully and responsibly with ethical consciousness at the heart of the label. Cantik's 2017 collection welcomes the use of ECONYL, an environmentally innovative 100% regenerable & recycled nylon yarn from post consumer materials.
Designer Catherine Heenan has a degree in Environmental Humanities and Development and focused her studies specifically on the rights and autonomy of workers in Indonesia.
Regular visits to the Cantik factory ensure transparency, fair wages, conditions and the best possible treatment for all workers.
Cantik proudly works to empower its manufacturers and employees to create swimwear that its consumers comfortably wear satisfactorily knowing their origins. Awareness and influence are beautiful.
With the launch of its fourth collection, Cantik swimwear sells to over 50 countries through its online store and select boutiques internationally.
